Connor Males

World war one has only just began
Were drinking rum
And were chewing gum
It smells so bad
We just saw a lad
He looks so sad
I don’t understand
I cant hear a sound
It  looks like a round
Gun fire and lights
They really want a fight
Its half way through , how
Can we lose we smell
Like booze we really
Shouldn’t snooze . Bombs
Exploding over my head
I can hear the dead.
